NESARC Sends Letter to Services Regarding Enhanced Transparency in ESA Implementation
27 February 2013On February 22, 2013, NESARC sent a letter to the Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) following up on a January meeting facilitated by the Small Business Administration last month regarding implementation of the Endangered Species Act. The letter provides suggestions from the Coalition on ways that FWS and NOAA can to improve coordination and enhance transparency with respect to decisions made under the ESA.
